Katelyn Lucas joined Mauck & Baker as a Legal Administrative Assistant. A native to North Carolina, she is passionate about community development and believes in the criticality of “togetherness.”

In 2013, she became aware of her desire to work with those around her (more specifically those in vulnerable populations), when she took on a volunteer role at her local family crisis center. From there, she would move on to volunteer with Youth With A Mission, an organization which trained her to navigate interactions with cross-cultural communities.

Today, Katelyn is learning how to support, advocate for, and represent the Chicagoland community in her role at Mauck & Baker. Each day, she is seeing how administration is a unique way to deliver necessary means for growing and sustaining communities.

Katelyn is also a student at Moody Bible Institute and the Volunteer Coordinator for Lantern Rescue, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to counter human trafficking. She hopes to continue growing in her passions, dedicating herself to her current roles and praying for increased wisdom within them.
